Job description

The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing on-site operations, with the following responsibilities:

  • Execute the project and control the quality of the work performed on-site.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontracted personnel.
  • Receive, verify, and organize materials and equipment on-site.
  • Coordinate and be the preventive resource for safety, quality, and the environment on-site.
  • Create and maintain a good relationship with the client and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards, propose improvements and innovations, and collaborate with the team to achieve the area’s objectives.

Responsibilities

Education:

  • Training as a Construction Manager (installations), Mechanic, Electrician, Refrigeration Technician, Welder, or similar is valued.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Manager is required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/climate control installations is required.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and/or clean rooms is valued.
  • Knowledge of electricity, pneumatic automation, and PLC automation is valued.
  • Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) is valued.

Software skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is valued.

Mobility:

  • Availability to travel as necessary to assigned projects in Mexico is required.

Skills and competencies

  • Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of client needs.
  • Teamwork.
  • Proactivity and initiative.
  • Organization and personnel management skills (subcontractors).

Other:

  • A valid driver’s license is required.
