Job description
The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing on-site operations, with the following responsibilities:
- Execute the project and control the quality of the work performed on-site.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontracted personnel.
- Receive, verify, and organize materials and equipment on-site.
- Coordinate and be the preventive resource for safety, quality, and the environment on-site.
- Create and maintain a good relationship with the client and identify potential business opportunities.
- Comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards, propose improvements and innovations, and collaborate with the team to achieve the area’s objectives.
Responsibilities
Education:
- Training as a Construction Manager (installations), Mechanic, Electrician, Refrigeration Technician, Welder, or similar is valued.
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Manager is required.
- Knowledge of HVAC/climate control installations is required.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and/or clean rooms is valued.
- Knowledge of electricity, pneumatic automation, and PLC automation is valued.
- Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) is valued.
Software skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is valued.
Mobility:
- Availability to travel as necessary to assigned projects in Mexico is required.
Skills and competencies
- Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Good understanding of client needs.
- Teamwork.
- Proactivity and initiative.
- Organization and personnel management skills (subcontractors).
Other:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
