Monoclonal antibody production area. The HVAC installation included: the air treatment system for the ISO5/ISO7/ISO8 classification of the production areas for cell culture, harvest, and bioreactors, among others; the installation of weighing and fractionation sectors and general storage tanks; the cold and hot water production with two units with partial heat recovery, totaling 1100 kW; the hydraulic distribution of cold and hot water; the heat production was reinforced with steam/water heat exchangers; and the supply of hot sanitary water through heat exchangers.
About the project
The electrical power and control installations, with their respective panels for the HVAC service, were fully executed by Valtria, who also carried out the corresponding commissioning of both services.
Currently, this plant is producing the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) vaccine for AstraZeneca.
